Hearth breaks out at Speight’s Ale Home in Queenstown

A fireplace has damaged out at a central Queenstown bar.

Photos from the scene present smoke pouring out of the Speight’s Ale Home.

Hearth and Emergency are in attendance, and roads across the space are closed.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Company has mentioned that as a result of hearth on Stanley St, the street is closed at Ballarat St.

Motorists are being requested to comply with the instructions of emergency companies on-site or keep away from the world.
